Hold Onto Your Inner Child : Jacqueline Emerson at TEDxOrangeCoast
Jacqueline Emerson is a singer, songwriter, and actress. She most notably portrayed "Foxface" in the recent movie, "The Hunger Games," and plans on attending Stanford University in fall 2013 as an East Asian Studies/Chinese major.
As a musician, she recently released two debut songs, "Peter Pan" and "Catch Me If You Can," both of which can be seen on YouTube. "Peter Pan" is a song about her fears of growing up, and the importance of her inner child. After watching many inspirational TEDTalks, she believes this program creates an important forum for discussion and expansion of the mind. Jacqueline is unbelievably honored to have spoken at this TEDx conference.
About TEDx.
TEDx was created in the spirit of TED's mission, "ideas worth spreading." The program is designed to give communities, organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
At TEDx events, a screening of TEDTalks videos -- or a combination of live presenters and TEDTalks videos -- sparks deep conversation and connections. TEDx events are fully planned and coordinated independently, on a community-by-community basis
